We can also deliver boxes for you to do the packing yourself.

4. Do you assemble furniture?

Whether you need us to dismantle and reassemble your household furniture or assemble brand new furniture we have experience with a variety of ranges and come with all the necessary tools for the job.

5. How do I know you will turn up on the day?

We commit to earning your trust during the build up to your move by offering you the best customer service and tailoring a bespoke removal plan for you. If that doesn’t convince you we also send out booking confirmations via email so you have it in writing that we have committed to you

6. What happens if you damage my items?

We have insurance which will pay out a set amount per item, on rare occasions customers have had to make a claim. If you don’t want to be paid out £50 per item then ask about our insurance packages which can cover you to the full value of your goods.  In the case of a claim, we will forward you onto our insurers who will deal with your claim as a third party.

7. Are international moves expensive?

The further away you are moving goods the more expensive it will be. Customs, port fees and demurrage prices can all delay and add expense to shipments. We on the other hand have a network of transporters who can help reduce these costs by offering competitive part load rates into Europe and other parts of the world.

8. I need to move but how do I start the process?

Contact us to book a surveyor, this way you can get all your questions answered and we can supply you with a quote. We can even recommend other services to bear in mind and what you need to look out for before you move.

9. It's raining and the van is parked far away, how do you protect my items?

We use thick polythene covers and other materials to protect your furniture in transit. We can also offer to stop working while its raining but on some jobs this can cause a delay and potentially, much later, incur more costs.

10. Can you wrap and transport sculptures?

Our skilful staff have a wide range of experience in protecting and transporting gilded mirror’s, sculptures and fine art. We embrace every new challenge moving art work brings.

11. Can you move my piano?

We have experience in moving pianos, grand pianos and baby grands. We have hoisted through windows and taken off roofs to install pianos. If there is a way we will find it!

12. Do I have to be there on moving day?

We need a representative on site at the beginning and end of the job or we cannot take responsibility for something being left behind or not taken.

13. I want something out of my storage, how do I go about doing that?

We send you a detailed and numbered inventory when you move your belongings into storage. This way you can easily tell us, “I need number 27 on the inventory, items labelled ski boots please”. You can incur charges to get items out of storage if you wish to visit your unit too, only because we will need to provide assistance onsite during the visit. This can be done by appointment only.

14. Only need boxes?

Get a surveyor to come around and survey how many boxes you need or send us an inventory and we will send you a delivery of boxes and materials for you to pack up.

15. Do you protect the building?

Upon request we can cover the carpets with stair stick and protect the walls and floors with corex, this will be an additional expense. We also bring shoe covers and use blankets with boxes in the entrances as standard procedure in case of it raining.

16. Do you charge cancellation fees?

If you cancel with more than 48 hours it is free of charge, within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee. Please contact us for more details.

17. What do I do with the boxes and packaging once my job is complete?

As part of being environmentally friendly we recycle all packing materials free of charge.  We include 1 free box collection of all your flat packed boxes and materials once your job is complete, after that its £30 per collection.
